The 2006 Gumball 3000 Rally (the “Event”) takes place between 30th April - 7th May.
The Event follows a 3 stage, 3000 mile driving route that incorporates Europe, Asia and the United States.
Stage 1 Europe - London (UK) to Istanbul (Turkey) The cars and participants will then be flown to Hong Kong.
Stage 2 Asia - Hong Kong to Beijing (China). The cars and participants are then flown across the pacific to the USA.
Stage 3 Salt Lake City (USA) to Los Angeles (USA) via Las Vegas.
There are NO categories and the event is open to all makes, models and years of vehicle. Places are limited to just 120 cars, so we can’t guarantee availability – but the more amazing or eccentric the car – the better the chance!
Registration day for the event takes place during the day of Sunday 29th April, in London, where all participants will be required to sign-in and all vehicles will be parked on display and have the Events’ sponsors’ decals professionally applied. All vehicles must arrive to the Event clean and unbranded. Registration will be followed by a party.
Each day of the Event is very different in format, and you will often be driving for a varied amount of miles and hours. However, most days of the event follow the basic format of driving during the day and partying each night. The exact route and details of all destinations will only be issued upon arrival at the checkpoints.
The entry fee per vehicle based on two (2) persons in the vehicle is £40,000 GBP for new Gumballers, and £30,000 for previous Gumballers. Additional passengers and/or co-drivers pay a fee of £10,000 GBP per person. The entry fee for your vehicle and any additional fees for additional passengers and/or co-drivers are due and payable within dates specified by Gumball HQ.
The entry fee includes accommodation in the most amazing 5-star hotels each night, including the night of registration (Sunday 29th April) throughout the week, until (and including) Monday 8th May. This includes all breakfasts, lunches and dinners, as well as several wild parties. Throughout the week all drivers and co-drivers will share Deluxe double/twin rooms to accommodate two (2) people. If upgrades are requested to Royal Suites please contact the Gumball 3000 HQ after your entry has been accepted. Each hotel usually only has a small number of Royal Suites, and therefore such suites cannot be guaranteed due to the large number of Royalty participating.
